What to do...

With so much going on I'm resorting to the old standby of list making. There is something very cleansing and rewarding about the entire process. But neccesity has also made me prioritize my to do list as well. So this perpetual undertaking is making me wonder why I attempt things that may never be. For example I started cleaning the kitchen cabinets in preparation for a new coat of paint - but then I had to clean all the collectibles as I removed them. So one project became two. This was Tuesday. The plates/dishes/candleholders/crystal have overtaken the dining room - a room I hardly ever use but admire on a daily basis - I could fill a whole digression there. The real kicker is that I can't find a paint color I like. Odd I know. The new countertops look beautimus, the new sink sparkles, and I have serious crush on my faucet. Is it wrong to love an inanimate object? But color is crucial it is the backbone of a room. Everything else is judged against the wall color. Any sense of drama or harmony is hinged on this crucial decision. I'm sure to post pictures soon, but please don't hold your breath this one may take a few more days. BTW the new Benjamin Moore samples great idea.
