St. Valentines Day can be one of the most divisive days of the year. It is laced with many unsung barb particularly for those uncoupled within the populace. For many years I celebrated S.A.D. (single awareness day) as it kind of prickles if you don't have a valentine. I even took time off from work in order to field others from my disdain and ire. So please be sentitive to those who might be facing a hard time due to death, loss, or even a breakup.
One thing I do not recommend is a new romance it can feel rushed and contrite, if you are new in a relationship do something low key. If you are single buy yourself something you have always wanted, have flowers delivered, nothing makes others take notice, and jealousy can be a great motivator for cupid bow.
